Empowering Futures

The Vergnano Institute for Impact is committed to fostering connection and passion in the engineering and STEM fields. Our programs are designed to facilitate the outreach, recruitment, retention, and overall success of all members of the College of Engineering community. By engaging our prospective and current students, in addition our community, we seek to empower them with a vision to look beyond themselves and see a future of diversity of mind, thought and values.

These values that are instilled will help empower not just the UConn Husky community but empower others beyond Connecticut and every where they go.

Our Undergraduate and Graduate students are the driving force behind our initiatives and events – from educational outreach, to community building, and volunteering – they are the Impact. VII is proud to support the UConn chapters of multiple national engineering organizations, connecting students to each other and professional opportunities.
